Naval architect
Also called: Architecte naval, architecte, designer, bureau d'études, design office, yacht designer
The designer of the boat: hull shape, appendages, structure, sail plan.
The naval architect draws the boat and calculates its performance. On racing projects, they often work with a design office for structure and appendages. A design can be signed by several designers; the directory shows each one's role.
