- IMOCA0 boats60-foot monohulls (18.28 m hull), raced solo, double-handed or crewed around the world.Box rule: hull ≤ 18.28 m, LOA ≤ 20.12 m, beam ≤ 5.85 m, draft ≤ 4.50 m, air draft ≤ 29 m.
- Ultim0 boatsThe largest offshore racing trimarans: up to 32 m long and 23 m wide.Ultim 32/23 rule: LOA from 24 to 32 m, overall beam ≤ 23 m, air draft ≤ 120% of the longest hull length.
- Ocean Fifty0 boats50-foot trimarans (15.24 m): fast, and more affordable than the Ultims.50-foot multihulls (formerly Multi50): length and beam ≤ 15.24 m.
- Class400 boats40-foot monohulls (12.19 m) without foils, hotly contested solo and double-handed.Box rule: hull ≤ 12.19 m, beam ≤ 4.50 m, draft ≤ 3.00 m; daggerboards and foils are banned.
