History
TeamWork is a Swiss IT services group working in consulting and technology integration. It was founded in Geneva in 1999 by Philippe Rey-Gorrez, who is its CEO, and remains privately owned.
In sailing, the company has backed the Geneva-based sailor Justine Mettraux since 2012, back in her Mini 6.50 days: it was her first partner, then followed her in the Figaro Bénéteau, the Class 40 and the IMOCA.
In 2022, TeamWork and Justine Mettraux bought the former Charal 1, a VPLP-designed IMOCA, which was relaunched on 29 July 2022 under the name TeamWork ahead of the Vendée Globe. The project is hosted by Beyou Racing. In 2024 Groupe SNEF joined the partnership and the boat became TeamWork - Team Snef.
