GRIB file
Also called: Fichier GRIB, GRIB, gribs, fichiers météo, modèle météo, GFS, ECMWF
A compact weather forecast file (wind, pressure, waves) read by routing software.
GRIB files hold the output of numerical weather models, such as the American GFS or the European centre's model. Downloaded by satellite several times a day, they feed routing. Racers often compare models to judge how reliable a forecast is.
