Fuel cell
Also called: Pile à combustible, pile à méthanol, pile à hydrogène, methanol fuel cell
A silent generator that makes electricity from a fuel (methanol, hydrogen) without burning it.
A fuel cell turns a fuel into electricity chemically. Silent and light, it complements solar and hydro output. Its fuel is still fossil-based or expensive to produce cleanly.
