Double-handed sailing
Also called: Double, en double, duo, double-handed, two-handed
Racing with two sailors on board.
Double-handed, sailors take turns: one keeps watch or steers while the other sleeps. The boat is pushed closer to its potential than single-handed. The Transat Jacques Vabre is the big double-handed race.
