Pit stop
Also called: Escale technique, escale, stopover, technical stop, arrêt technique, retour au port
A stop in port for repairs, allowed or not depending on the race rules.
Some transatlantic races allow a pit stop, with a minimum stop time. In non-stop races, returning to the start port may be allowed in the first days; after that, any stop ends the race. The directory records each of a boat's stops with its duration.
