C-foil
Also called: Foil en C, C-shaped foil, foil courbe
A foil shaped like an arc: its whole curve lifts, and the boat regulates itself.
The C-foil is one of the first foil shapes used in offshore racing, first on multihulls. The faster the boat goes, the higher it rises and the less foil stays immersed: lift regulates itself. It relieves the boat but rarely makes it fly.
