J-foil
Also called: Foil en J, J-shaped foil
A foil whose lower part curves into a hook, between the C and the L.
The J-foil adds a flatter tip to the bottom of a curved board, which lifts more. More powerful than a C, it remains progressive enough for offshore sailing without flying all the time.
