Jury
Also called: jury international, comité de course, race committee, réclamation, protest
The body that hears protests and decides penalties and redress.
The race committee runs the event (start, course, finishes); the jury settles disputes. A competitor, the committee or the jury itself can lodge a protest. Its decisions (penalties, redress, disqualifications) may come after the finish and change the ranking.
