Safety equipment
Also called: Armement de sécurité, armement, règles OSR, Offshore Special Regulations, sécurité
The mandatory safety gear on board, checked before the start.
Life raft, beacons, survival suit, life jackets, lights, medical kit, storm sails: the list is set by World Sailing's Offshore Special Regulations and by each race. A non-compliant boat is not allowed to start.
