24-hour record
Also called: Record des 24 heures, 24 heures, distance en 24 heures, 24h, 24-hour distance
The greatest distance sailed in 24 hours, by type of boat or by class.
The 24-hour record measures pure speed over a day. It is often broken during a race, in a favourable weather system, and checked against the tracker positions.
