Ranking
Also called: Classement, classement général, scratch, overall, rang, podium
The order of boats at a race's finish, within their division or across all classes (line honours).
Each division has its ranking. The overall (scratch) ranking orders all boats by real time, across classes: it almost always goes to the biggest multihulls. During the race, position reports rank boats by distance to finish, which is never final.
