History
This IMOCA 60 was designed by VPLP and Guillaume Verdier and built by Multiplast in Vannes. It was launched on 11 September 2015 and was reportedly developed under the name Absolute Dreamer 5 (FRA 06).
Racing as St-Michel-Virbac, it was skippered from 2015 to 2018 by Jean-Pierre Dick. It finished 4th in the 2016-2017 Vendée Globe and won the 2017 Transat Jacques Vabre with Jean-Pierre Dick and Yann Eliès.
In 2018 it became Ucar-St-Michel under Yann Eliès, who took 2nd in the IMOCA class of the 2018 Route du Rhum.
Since 2019 it has raced as Prysmian Group (ITA 34) with Giancarlo Pedote, 17th in the 2019 Transat Jacques Vabre, 6th in 2021, and 8th in the 2020-2021 Vendée Globe. In preparation for the 2024 Vendée Globe, the bow was rebuilt and the boat received new foils.
