History
This IMOCA monohull was launched on 20 September 2010 as Foncia 2, at the end of a six-month project led by Michel Desjoyeaux with naval architects Guillaume Verdier and VPLP. The hull was moulded at Green Marine (Lymington) and the deck at JMV Industries (Cherbourg), with final assembly at CDK Technologies in Port-la-Forêt. Desjoyeaux finished sixth in the 2010 Route du Rhum, then retired from the Barcelona World Race with François Gabart after a masthead failure in January 2011.
Sold in March 2011 to Team Banque populaire, she became Banque populaire under Armel Le Cléac'h: third in the 2011 Transat Jacques-Vabre, then second in the 2012-2013 Vendée Globe, just over three hours behind the winner. Bought by Jérémie Beyou in 2013, she raced as Maître CoQ; she was fitted with foils during a yard period at CDK starting in November 2015, won the 2016 Transat New York-Vendée and finished third in the 2016-2017 Vendée Globe.
In April 2017 the Initiatives-Cœur project bought her as its third boat, first skippered by Tanguy de Lamotte and from December 2017 by Samantha Davies. Davies raced her in the 2018 Route du Rhum and the 2020-2021 Vendée Globe, where a collision with a floating object on 2 December 2020 forced her to divert to Cape Town and retire.
Arnaud Boissières bought the boat in autumn 2021 and renamed her La Mie Câline; he raced her until 2025, including a 2024-2025 Vendée Globe that ended with a dismasting. Manuel Cousin became her owner in 2025 under the name Groupe Sétin.
