History
This Ocean Fifty trimaran (the former Multi50 class) was launched in 2020 for Fabrice Cahierc. Designed by VPLP with a structure entirely engineered in-house to be as light as the rule allows, it was built by Persico Marine.
Taken over by Erwan Le Roux, it was renamed Koesio in 2021 in the colours of the digital services company, in time for the Transat Jacques Vabre. Under that name it won the Ocean Fifty class of the 2022 Route du Rhum.
On 26 October 2025, shortly after the start of the Transat Café L'Or, the trimaran capsized overnight; Erwan Le Roux and Audrey Ogereau were rescued. Fully rebuilt in La Rochelle over the winter, it was relaunched on 16 April 2026 as Plastic Odyssey Fifty, in partnership with the Plastic Odyssey organisation.
