Outside time limit
Also called: Hors temps, OTL, hors délai, temps limite, time limit
A boat that completes the course after the time limit set by the organiser. It counts as a finish, ranked behind every finisher.
Sailing instructions often set a time limit after the winner finishes. A boat that crosses the line after it is “outside the time limit”: it completed the course but is not ranked with the others.
In the directory's statistics, an OTL boat counts as a finish (it completed the course) and is placed behind every finisher within the limit, in order of its time.
